The Leica Rugby 640 is a fantastic construction laser for horizontal and vertical measurement and plumb point with a visible laser beam, which means you can use it indoors without a laser receiver. Out in the field, you work with the included Rod-Eye 160 laser receiver. With the Leica Rugby 640, you can manually set fall/tilt, in both X and Y directions. You measure the desired case yourself, which you set with the +/- buttons on the instrument. Another advantage of this rotation laser is that you can lay the instrument down to get the rotation in the vertical plane, which is useful when setting up walls and more. The Leica Rugby 640 has more scanning modes, as the laser only marks in a certain sector and direction.
