Leak Alert™ helps you avoid serious water damage in your home. This stand-alone battery-powered device is placed in places where there is a risk of water leakage and warns with a very loud alarm for up to 72 hours. Perfect for washrooms, near a water heater, under fish tanks or near toilets.

LeakAlert has two external metal strips with a weak electrical current continuously passing through them. In case of contact with water, the circuit is closed and the alarm sounds. Make sure the LeakAlert is placed right side up so it will float in the event of a flood. You function test the device by touching the strips with your hand which will trigger the alarm.
