Light & Audio plumb line OTT KL010
The light probe is mostly used for level measurements in wells, groundwater pipes and boreholes. The main parts of the device are a coil with a meter-graded steel tape ("tape measure") and a sensor. When the sensor, which sits at the bottom of the measuring tape, reaches the water surface, an indicator light in the coil lights up, after which you simply read the level on the measuring tape.
OTT KL 010 also has a sound indication "buzzer" as standard. There are bottom sensors as accessories, i.e. an addition that indicates if/when the sensor reaches the solid bottom.
A "regular" light plumb thus only indicates water level, and possibly solid bottom with the optional bottom sensor. If you also need to measure the temperature of the water, you should look at the OTT KL 010 TM
