Cable finder CAT4+

Product information Cable finder C.A.T4+

Cable finder C.A.T4+ is primarily intended for use by construction & excavation contractors, industries, electrical installers for easier cable laying and as a warning instrument to avoid digging up cables unnecessarily. With a C.A.T4+ you can find most cables easily but not all. C.A.T4+ detects the natural magnetic fields that form both around loaded cables (50 Hz) or unloaded (VLF radio). C.A.T4+ is easy to use and very robustly built to ensure many years of use in harsh environments. Cable Locator C.A.T4+ can be supplemented with a transmitter GENNY4  to transmit signals on all types of metallic cables/wires or used with various transmitter probes for following plastic & concrete pipes. C.A.T4+ has a digital display with built-in backlight that shows the signal strength and a built-in speaker that provides audible tone. In noisy environments, the speaker can be unscrewed and held closer to the ear. C.A.T4+ is compatible with previous models of GENNY as well as GENNY3. C.A.T4+ is often used together with so-called transmitter probes to follow plastic & concrete pipes. With C.A.T4+ you can also measure the depth of a cable (when used together with GENNY4) or of a transmitter probe. C.A.T4+ is compatible with previous models of GENNY as well as GENNY3.
