Product Overview
The SOPPEC Strong Marker 12-Pack is a non-fluorescent forestry marking paint designed for long-term outdoor marking applications.
The paint has a stated marking durability of 4–6 years, depending on the substrate and application conditions. It is designed for applications including long-term tree marking, property boundaries, boundary marking, identifying future trees and marking hiking trails.
Strong Marker is specified as having excellent adhesion and high covering power on wood surfaces, together with high weather resistance and mechanical strength. It can also be used at temperatures from -20°C to +50°C, with a stated drying time of approximately 1 to 1.5 hours.
The formulation uses a urethane-alkyd binder and mineral and organic pigments stated to be free from lead and cadmium. The solvent mixture is stated to be free from chlorinated solvents and aromatic compounds.
The paint can be applied manually or using suitable forestry paint application equipment.
For best results, SOPPEC recommends shaking the can thoroughly with the nozzle facing upwards for at least one minute before use to prevent pigment sediment from blocking the nozzle. After application, the can should be cleared with the nozzle facing downwards.
