What does the BricsCAD free trial offer?

The BricsCAD free trial gives you full access to BricsCAD Ultimate for 30 days. That means that all the features of BricsCAD Shape, Lite, Pro, BIM, and Mechanical are yours to use, free of charge.

My BricsCAD free trial has expired. What do I need to do to buy BricsCAD?

Purchase a license (through the online store, or by contacting a local reseller), re-launch the trial product and enter your key in the License Manager. This will activate your trial as a commercial product with the correct license level. There’s no need to uninstall and reinstall, ever.

Payments on the BricsCAD online store are managed by Paddle. What does that mean?

What are the minimum system and hardware requirements for BricsCAD?

The minimum system requirements for BricsCAD are:

  • Operating System: Windows 10, 11 (x64), MacOS 12, and later, or Linux. (Visit the help article for more details)
  • Processor: The CPU with the highest single-thread performance rating will always excel with BricsCAD®.
  • RAM: At least 8 GB of memory, 16 GB or more, is recommended for larger or more complex drawings.
  • Hard Drive: At least 3 GB of free hard drive space.
  • Display: Monitor with a minimum resolution of Full HD (1920x1080).
  • Graphics Card: Video card with DirectX 9 or higher compatibility.
  • Internet connection: A stable Internet connection and some additional features are required for activation.
