GEO Line trench module

Today we have the pleasure of presenting a completely new model type for conduit trench management in Geo. UIM or Underground Infra Model as we call it, is a completely new type of model that handles cable trenches in a much simpler way than what we have previously done in e.g. MBS. Right now it is included in the basic module, but this will change in late autumn when more functions will be added. The input to this model is a simple 3d polyline in geo format. The output from this model type is a cross-section file (*.sec) containing the bottom of the shaft, conduit bed and pipes and a terrain model for the shaft. The shaft model can be combined as a model for pipeline shafts and wells/devices on the entire stretch or divided into their respective well stretches.

UNICODE

Geo is now UNICODE, which means that Geo is not dependent on the "correct" character set being used in Windows. In theory, this means that Geo is completely language independent. This is nothing that you as a user will normally notice, at best you avoid strange characters in files created with e.g. Polish, Czech or other Slavic languages.

LICENSE TYPES

There are three different license types for SBG Geo Professional. These are:

• Single HL - License for a single user
• Single Network - License for one network user
• Multi Network - Licenses for multiple single users or multiple network users. 
  Note: that at least 2 basic packages must be purchased when purchasing a new Multilicense.

The license type Multi HL has been discontinued from the range and is replaced by Multi Network. For those of you who already have Multi HL and want to renew your license, please contact us using the "Ask about this product" link above.
