Product Overview

The Wall Fixing Stud / Horizontal Stud – 19mm Stainless Steel is designed for horizontal installation into a wall or similar substrate.

Manufactured from stainless steel, the stud features a 19mm thickness and spherical head and is available in four lengths: 150mm, 250mm, 300mm and 350mm.

The wall fixing studs are supplied drilled, with a centering hole positioned to the side of the spherical head. If the centering hole is not required for the installation, the stud can be turned so that the hole faces downwards.

For installation, the substrate is pre-drilled and a chemical anchor compound can be used to help secure the position of the stud. The stud is then driven into position using the specified mandrel for fixed studs (Art. No. 1413).

During installation, the stud expands at the bottom with the help of the supplied cone/wedge. The cone/wedge has been designed with an extra-wide profile to make driving the stud easier, and the supplied information specifies that a rubber hammer (Art. No. 23D-4) is sufficient for this process.

The cone/wedge is included with the stud.
