The housing is manufactured from ABS plastic and includes a large opening for refilling, together with a bayonet-mounted cap. The reel holds up to 100g of chalk.
A 1:3 gear ratio allows the line to be rewound three times faster, helping speed up repeated marking work. The ergonomic crank includes a release button that allows the line to be pulled out without the crank spinning.
The line is secured by a hook at its end, helping prevent it from hanging loose and reducing the risk of it becoming caught during use.
